On November 23-24, 2006, Nazarene Youth Pastors from around Korea gathered together at the retreat center in Ye San, Korea, for the 3rd Nazarene Youth Pastors’ workshop.NYI Praise Coordinator, Kim, Bong Cheol with a music team led the worship service and NYI director Rev. Kim, Eun Yup (John) preached. After having fellowship time a guest speaker, Rev. Kang, Seok Won, lectured on how to be revived youth ministry and on how to preach for youth. Rev. Kim, Eun Yup and Rev. Hwang, Chang Sun introduced Bible study materials for our young people. After we had a spirit filled prayer time led by Mr. Lee, Jae Hyun, we went to bed.

A prayer meeting was held at 6:00 the next morning with Rev. Hwang, Ho Kyu, pastor in Ye San, preaching. Election for coordinators followed after breakfast and Mr. Yoon Yo Han was elected as the education coordinator and Rev. Kim, Hong Cheol the quiz coordinator. Led by 6 coordinators, small groups discussed ways of improving each area of NYI ministry and presented the results. Two youth pastors presented what they are doing in their local churches, and Dr. John Bondy, professor at KNU, who brought his class to the workshop, gave lecture on youth ministry. After all programs were done, Dr. Im, Seung Ahn, KNU president, preached during the sending service.

There were about 40 youth pastors participating the workshop, and more than 10 local churches helped the workshop financially. We praise the Lord for what He has done! We pray that the 4th workshop next year would be more fruitful.
