NYI Reflection on Women’s Pastor Conference by APNYI Admin

The Asia-Pacific Wesleyan Women’s Clergy and Leadership conference was held at the campus of Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila, Philippines from January 29, 2007 to February 1, 2007. The theme of the conference was “Called to be Fruit Bearers”. The conference was a time to celebrate the call of God on the lives of women, and to encourage and equip them in ministry. These are the thought of Jana, an NYI member who attended the conference
It is a privilege to attend a women’s conference. When God created Eve, He surely had something wonderful in mind. We are created uniquely for his purposes, and it was so thrilling to see these unique characteristics of women when I was able to spend time with them for the 4 days of conference. It wasn’t hard to relate with them, we surely are women who love to talk and share. The workshops had the women clergy and women leaders in mind, thus, it helped us know how to be more effective in our own ministries and do well with our everyday lives. The worship services were awesome, these were days of rest for most mothers who back at their homes are always busy thinking how to prepare for their families and ministries at the same time, but most of all, it was a celebration of our womanhood, women loved by the Lord and will be used by the Lord for His glory.
