On May 3-6, 2007 Japan NYI gathered at KUMAMOTO, which is the roots of the church of the Nazarene of Japan, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nazarene church in Japan. There were around 30 young people attending. We had many programs: a concert, comic storytelling, sightseeing, performance time, workshop, and worship time.

The main theme of this conference was “Holiness which a Youth Understands”. The youth listened carefully to God’s word, and then they shared their thought within the group after worship.

We are quite a small community but God blessed us.
I really thank God. God loves this small country and wants to use young people of this country for God’s purpose. I thank all NYI brothers and sisters who always remember us and pray for us. Please continue to pray for Japan, Japanese Christian, NYI members of Japan, and NYI leader, Rev Satoshi Kuboki.
