Samoa - Living out “One Mission” by APNYI Admin

On November 24th over twenty youth leaders from the local churches of Samoa met with Ulisese Toafa, the South Pacific NYI Coordinator and Samoa District Superintendent Fetalai Lelea at the South Pacific Nazarene Theological College. They met to discuss how youth can better reach their generation for Christ in Samoa.

Ulisese challenged the local presidents to lead the way in reaching out to the unsaved youth of Samoa. The group discussed the NYI theme for the year of “One Mission” and the leaders set goals and objectives to implement what they discussed in these meetings with the youth of their local churches and in their communities. The group will evaluate their progress at their upcoming District Assembly. Another seminar will be held at the upcoming National Youth Camp, to continue the challenge and discussion of how to effectively reach out to non-believing youth.

Please continue to pray for the youth of Samoa, and pray that God would raise up Christian youth there to take the first step in reaching out to their lost generation. In the words of Dr. Oswald Smith, “God needs your voice and my voice, your face and my face, to communicate his message to our generation.”

- Ulisese Toafa
