WM Communications Launches International Film Festival by APNYI Admin
Calling all young video/film producers! What’s your vision for the future? Show us what’s in your camera! Join the 100 Plus Film Festival. World Mission Communications, along with Nazarene Youth International, and Jesus Film Harvest Partners is hosting this international film festival, which gives youth the opportunity to share their hopes and dreams for the future. Not only will youth have the chance to win great prizes, but will also be able to express to their generation in a creative, relevant way the hope they have in Christ for the future.
Applicants can now register online. The site www.100plusfilmfest.com is officially launched on January 4, 2008. And production tips, inspirational clips, together with specific information regarding the contest can be accessed through the site. It will also serve as the screening room for all films submitted by registrants.
Two contest categories are available. One is a 30-60 sec. inspirational/ad and the other is a 10 minute short film. Both requires adherence to a phrase that registrants can select from the website which are directly related to the overarching theme: “My vision for the church in the futureâ€.
Contestants can submit the films as early as February, 2008. The deadline for submission though is set on July 1st, 2008. The international film fest will feature a series of webcast in September, 2008, culminating with a final awards webcast on October 4th, 2008. Go to www.100plusfilmfest.com for more details.
